Recycling factory in Lagos

RECYCLING FACTORY IN LAGOS

The plastic that we found at our events needed a place to go. There is no more to say.

For this reason we have worked tirelessly to find a place not only to store it, but to be able to transform it and useful products and be used by other companies.

Thanks to a new partner, Pakam, we found this location, in Surulere.

Since we acquired the land, we have been investing time, money and energy to make it a true workplace. Debris and dirt have been removed, as well as several restoration work on the roof and wiring.

With this, we now have a place where, on the one hand, it can serve as offices to be able to work on all projects, as well as a storage place to store the plastic that we collect from events or is brought by the Lagos community to give a new use.

Since we acquired the land, we have been investing time, money and energy to make it a true workplace. Debris and dirt have been removed, as well as several restoration work on the roof and wiring.

From the beginning of September 2021 to the end of October, we have been storing recycled plastic, reaching full capacity of 12 tons!

However, our work not only became storage and separation of plastic, but also its transformation. Thus, our technicians have achieved the installation and start-up of the machinery for the crushing of this plastic

Today the factory employs dozens of workers, and tons of plastic is taken off the street to be reused in our center.
