African Fan Nommo Ritual

12,95  IVA incluido

Nommo Ritual African fan, handmade in the Republic of Benin with 100% cotton African wax fabric in earth tones, black, and cream, decorated with dancing human figures and ritual masks. This design evokes the traditional ceremonies of sub-Saharan Africa, where the body, rhythm, and symbol are spiritual languages.

The name Nommo Ritual refers to the Nommo, mythical beings of the Dogon people of Mali, considered guardians of knowledge and cosmic order. The fan celebrates this connection between art, the body, and the African worldview.
💡 Cultural fact: In many cultures, masks are not just decorative: they are used in rituals to channel spirits, protect communities, or tell ancestral stories.
