Dogon Stellar African fan, handmade in the Republic of Benin with 100% cotton African wax fabric. Its design is composed of thin multicolored stripes reminiscent of traditional textile craftsmanship, crossed by purple diamond shapes reminiscent of constellations or mystical symbols of the Dogon people, known for their astronomical wisdom.

The name Dogon Stellar pays homage to the Dogon people of Mali, famous for their profound knowledge of the Sirius star system long before it was documented by modern science.
💡 Cultural Fact: The Dogon have been studied for their mythology linked to the stars, and for their complex symbolic language in textiles, masks, and architecture.

Materials: 100% cotton African wax fabric. Wooden and leather handles.

Print: Thin stripes in red, white, black, and yellow, with purple diamond shapes embroidered in stars or protective symbols.
