Saba Rayas African fan, handmade in the Republic of Benin with 100% cotton African wax fabric in a symphony of multicolored stripes on a white background. Its design is reminiscent of the ceremonial textiles of peoples such as the Saba of Burkina Faso or the Akan, where each line symbolizes a story, a generation, or a community bond.

The name Saba Rayas alludes to the African savannah peoples, where striped textiles have ritual and narrative value. Each line is a gesture of memory and a thread of connection.
💡 Cultural fact: Stripes in African textiles represent balance, social order, and collective beauty. They also mark time, as if each stripe were a day or a stage of life.
