Solana Kente African fan, handcrafted in the Republic of Benin from 100% cotton African wax cloth in shades of light yellow, forest green, and navy blue. Its interwoven, geometric design is reminiscent of the legendary kente cloth, native to the Ashanti and Ewe peoples and a symbol of wisdom, energy, and dignity. This fan combines tradition and color with a sophisticated aesthetic.

The name Kente Solana pays homage to the kente cloth, historically worn by kings and noble figures in West Africa. “Solana,” a word inspired by the sun, represents the luminous energy of the dominant yellow.
💡 Cultural Fact: Each color in kente has a meaning: yellow represents wealth and the sun; green, life and growth; blue, spiritual harmony.
