Lets Go Clean The Beach (Cleanups in Ghana)

Lets go clean the beach (Ghana)

This is a picture taken by our team member @santiagodelca in Accra, Ghana. 🇬🇭🤎

When we saw this image, it was clear to us. Just like we did in Makoko action had to be taken.

We had huge difficulties of accessibility and lack of volunteer, but after our first event in Nungua, and angel fell from the sky: Togbe.

After Nungua, Togbe joined mondo4africa and since then, under the campaign “Lets Go Clean the Beach” we have been organizing clean up events every month. Financed through the sell of our tshirtsTogbe is leading a group of volunteers who will clean up Accra’s beaches and drive waste where it belongs.

So far, we are proud to say we have developed several beach clean ups on Ghana. Tons of trash and plastic have been collected from the coast to later converse in recycled products such us plastic bags or bricks (check our sorting center on projects).

Do you wanna know how is going? follow us in the social media (@mondo4africa) or ask for a newsletter where we share our monthly events!

Do not miss the events that our crew are carrying out 🌍

Keep watching! This adventure has just started! 😉.
